Council staff donate to food banks
KENILWORTH - Wellington North staff are making a difference to help others in the community.
On Dec. 2, administrative support member Andrew Hydon outlined staff donations being made to local food banks in a report.
Hydon wrote “Each year the team at the municipal office in Kenilworth participates in dress down Fridays by making a voluntary donation of $1 each.”
This year, the team made a donation of $430.
The donation was evenly split between the Arthur and Mount Forest food banks.
