Council okays $30,000 to pave two roads
Guelph-Eramosa council has decided to proceed with a $30,039 resurfacing project along Dennis and Queen Streets in Rockwood.
Public Works Manager Ken Gagnon said in a report to council the work was included as an optional item in a tender for upgrades to the 6th Line, which was awarded to Cox Construction earlier this year.
Council unanimously approved the work, with the funds to come from the “roads resurfacing reserve.”
Councillor Roger Knapp was absent.
