Council deems Fergus Truck Show as municipally significant

Councillors here endorsed the Fergus Truck Show as a community festival of municipal significance.

The approval followed a request made by show president Keith Drinkwater for the 30th Annual Fergus Truck Show scheduled for July 24 to 26.

The designation allows organizers to apply for a Liquor License Board of Ontario Special Occasion Permit.

Notification regarding erection of tents will be forwarded to the township’s chief building official.
