Council cost almost $85,000 in 2011
Guelph-Eramosa council was paid a total of $84,862 in salary and expenses for 2011, down 3% from 2010.
Mayor Chris White was paid a total of $32,067 (including $14,817 in remuneration, $12,750 for extra meetings and $4,499 in expenses) - down 18% from 2011.
The totals for councillors, who all received $9,878 in remuneration, are as follows:
- Doug Breen, $11,884 (up 1%);
- Corey Woods, $12,537 and David Wolk, $13,157 (first full year for both); and
- John Scott, $15,217 (up 11%).
