That’s nearly $8,000 less than the budgeted amount of $138,875.
It includes $20,058 in remuneration for each councillor and $31,142 for Mayor Andy Lennox, plus benefits, travel expenses and money for conventions, seminars, computer, telephone and internet.
Councillors were paid less than budgeted for conferences and computer, telephone and internet costs.
Each member of council received $800 for travel expenses.
Mayor Andy Lennox received $2,252 in benefits, while councillors Sherry Burke, Lisa Hern and Steve McCabe received $1,376 and Penny Renken received $391.
Lennox and McCabe did not receive any compensation for conventions and seminars, while Burke received $1,774, Renken $1,305 and Hern $68.
Each member received between $1,026 and $1,214 to cover computer, telephone and internet expenses.
Though the mayor and councillors’ remuneration went up slightly from $30,562 and $19,684 in 2024, the total amount paid out was down from $133,600 due to a reduction in payments for conventions and seminars.
