Contract awarded for new turf at Marden building
Total cost for replacement to exceed $484,000
BRUCEDALE – Guelph/Eramosa council has awarded the job of replacing artificial turf at the Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre in Marden to GTR Turf for $309,877.
The township received three bids for the work:
- Team Rochon Inc./GTR Turf, $309,877;
- Arenes Construction Ltd., $465,586; and
- Tarkett Sports Canada Inc., $352,033.
The total estimated cost, including tax, provisional items such as repairs, contingency and tender preparation, and contract administration is $484,463.
This amount is to come from reserves.
