Nestlé Waters Canada celebrated Earth Day on April 23 and 25 through participation in Adopt-A-Road activities here and in Chilliwack and Hope British Columbia, communities where it has operations.

The Adopt-A-Road program is a public service initiative for volunteers to enhance local litter collection activities in the community they live by picking up litter along road right-of-ways. It is designed to contribute to cleaner and more beautiful road systems in the community.

Under the program, the company agreed to adopt a section of road allowance and keep it clean. That is recognized by a sign erected by the local government acknowledging its efforts.

Employees in Puslinch cleaned up County Road 34 between Brock Road South and Highway 6.
