Community provides kudos to council for court
Puslinch councillors have scored big with the local community in the creation of a basketball court in Arkell.
On May 3, councillors received a letter from Graham and Clark Williams.
The pair wrote to council to state the basketball court is in perfect condition and is ready for play.
“My brother and I would like to thank you for your help being a part of making the basketball court and by doing that, you made everyone in our community happy,” the letter states.
Councillor Susan Fielding said she has heard really great feedback on the creation of the court.
“The kids are loving it ... and it is very appreciated in the community,” she said.
Council agreed to send a note expressing its appreciation of the work of the Puslinch Optimists on the project.
