Community liaison group to meet on water study

ABOYNE - A Centre Wellington Tier 3 Community Liaison Group (CLG) meeting will be held on March 26 at 7pm at the Wellington County Museum and Archives, in the Aboyne Hall, at 0536 Wellington Road 18.

The meeting will focus on the results of the water quantity threats assessment, climate change assessment and approach to policy development within the vulnerable area.

This is the fifth CLG meeting for this study.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

The CLG provides a forum for stakeholders and residents to provide feedback during the study, as well as receive information about the project’s progress.

In addition to the project team, the CLG is composed of representatives from various sectors, including business, large water users, agriculture, environment and the general public.
