Community Christmas Day dinner
Thinking about what to do on Christmas Day?
Many folks find themselves alone. Maybe family lives far away or, for varied reasons, one cannot share the season.
There is no need to be alone this Christmas.
Organizers are asking local residents to join them for the 5th annual Community Christmas Day Dinner at Grace Christian Fellowship from 4 to 8pm.
The first events took place in the basement of Melville United, then organizers were thrilled to be in their own building in Fergus.
Most recently, Grace Christian hosted about 120 guests for a full turkey dinner, filled with an enjoyable evening in the company of old and new friends.
Return visitors and newcomers are welcome. Those living in the Fergus/Elora community who need a ride can call the church office, leave their name and number and someone will arrange a ride.
Reserve a place at the table as there is limited seating by calling 519-787-1978. Grace Christian Fellowship is at 35 Farley Rd. (Beatty Line N. and 18th Sideroad).
