Comedian brings laughs to Maryhill

The Maryhill Knights of Columbus and Catholic Women’s League are hosting a comedy night on Oct. 15 at the Maryhill Community Centre featuring comedian Simon Rakoff.

A 30-year comedy veteran, Rakoff is regarded as one of Canada’s top headline acts, appearing in the Just for Laughs Festival and Winnipeg Comedy Festival. He holds the record for the most appearances on the television show Open Mike with Mike Bullard.
