Collins, George Leslie - Peacefully at Headwaters Health Centre, in Orangeville on Thursday, July 24, 2008. George Collins of Conestoga Estates, formerly of Orton, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband for 46 years to Marie (Tilcox) Collins. Loving father of Bonnie Brumwell, and her husband Larry of Belwood; Ronnie Collins and his wife Tracey of Fergus and Guy Ord (Shirley Ann) of Stirling. Cherished grandpa of Jennifer, Evan (Melissa), Tasha, Jessie, Shane and Jessica. Great grandfather of Madison. Dear brother of Fred Collins (Carol) of Collingwood. Also survived by his step mother Grace Collins and step sister Brenda Dewolf both of St. Catharines. George will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rested at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main St. S., Erin, where the funeral service was held on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 2:00pm. Interment was at Huxley Cemetery, Hillsburgh. Visitation was on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
