Club learns about goat milk
On May 28, Erin 4-H Dairy Club held its second meeting.
Kaylin opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge.
The club went on a tour of a goat dairy farm, which was held at Forest Creek Ranch in Erin.
We were taken through the barn and the milking parlour where we got to see their goat herd and milking system.
We were then taken to the next barn where we got to see all the baby goats.
Then we met outside where they explained the different breeds they owned and answered any questions the club members had.
The meeting was then closed with the 4-H motto.
