Club hosts Sparkles in the Park New Year's Eve celebration
The Rotary Club here is hosting a kick-off to the New Year’s Eve celebration at 7:30pm and countdown to the fireworks display at 8pm on Dec. 31.
Throughout the evening visitors can ride the carousel for free and experience Riverside Park, which has transformed into a winter wonderland, officials say.
There are over 30,000 lights all strung by Rotary volunteers.
Proceeds will benefit local and international Rotary projects.
