Clifford Santa Claus Parade celebration includes street party
CLIFFORD – A downtown street party will precede the Clifford Santa Claus parade on Nov. 26.
Clifford Connects and the Clifford Firefighters Association are hosting Christmas in the Street with events before and after the annual festive parade.
Beginning at 5pm in the lead-up to the 7pm parade, the event will feature:
- extended shopping at storefronts and special promotions at participating businesses;
- a vendors market;
- maple syrup taffy and other Christmas snacks;
- Christmas Tunes with DJ Cody;
- free balloons with balloon artist Chuckles;
- horse and buggy rides; and
- firepit warming stations.
The first 100 visitors to the Minto information booth will receive a $5 Think Minto First gift card and Minto shopping bag.
Photos with Santa
The parade, with a theme of “Christmas Characters”, begins at 7pm.
After the parade youngsters can pose for photos with Santa and receive treats, and parade-goers can enjoy a barbecue hosted by the Clifford Firefighters Association.
