Clemmer, Alson S.; Passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Hamilton General Hospital. Alson Clemmer age 83 years of RR#1, Wallenstein. Husband of Malinda W. (Bowman) Clemmer. Father of Oscar and Jane of Floradale, Manasseh “Mac” and Marilyn of RR#1, Wellesley, Mary and Sidney Martin of RR#4, Aylmer, Sidney of Listowel and David and Marianne of Kenilworth. Also remembered by his 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Brother of Nathan Clemmer of Sauble Falls. Predeceased by his parents Manasseh and Judith (Shoemaker) Clemmer, his son Solomon (1973), one sister Minerva, one brother-in-law Irvin Bauman, and one granddaughter Melissa (1984). Friends called at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Saturday evening, February 5th from 7-9pm. Visitation was held at the home of Abner W. Martin, 7710 Line 86 (west of Wallenstein) on Sunday, February 6th from 1-7pm and a family service was held on Monday, February 7th at 8:45am. Further service and burial was held at the Olivet Mennonite Meeting House.
