Clay, Dorothy Christina (nee Hillis)
; Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in her 89th year. Dorothy was the loving mother of Frances Elliston (Bill), Ian Jr. (Valerie), Nancy McManus (Frank) and Peggy Agnew (Mike). Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by sister Shirley Cudney (Les), brother Mac Hillis (Phyllis) and daughter-in-law Joan Galipeau (Leo). Predeceased by her loving husband Ian Ted, son George, son-in-law John McManus, parents George & Lizzie Hillis, brothers Bill & Donnie and sister Gladys Howard. Dorothy will always be remembered for her kind heart and willingness to help others whether it was serving coffee and sandwiches or helping at the community pantry. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Friday, March 12th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 13th at 11am. Interment took place at Belsyde Cemetery.
