Clarification
In last week edition of the Wellington Advertiser, Green Party Candidate Brent Bouteiller was cited as saying that grants to municipalities were given for things that were “not important.”
Bouteiller said he would never refer to any grant application as “not important,” but he believes that some might have been more important than others, and the method of allocation of funds seemed to him to be unfair. He would prefer a sharing of the grant money.
