Church completes anniversary with music
The United Church here celebrated 175 years in 2007.
After a year of festivities that included an old fashioned service in January, a Homecoming weekend in June, and a fall anniversary service, Barrie Hill is finishing 2007 with a Christmas musical celebration entitled Christmas In The Good Old Days.
There will be performances by the senior choir and the children's choir, with solos and recitations.
The newly renovated multi-use sanctuary will be the setting for Christmas In The Good Old Days, which runs on Dec. 16 at 7pm.
Refreshments will follow and all are welcome.
