Christmas Spirit House and Business Decorating Contest winners receive prizes

PALMERSTON – Winners of the Christmas Spirit House and Business Decorating Contest in Palmerston were recently presented with their prizes.

Between Dec. 14 and 20 judges checked out 14 registered homes and three registered businesses for the contest, sponsored by Brown Insurance.

Judges were Ruth Wilkin, Eleanor Butt, Paul Judge, Don and Isabel Senek.

Residential winners who received Minto gift cards were:

– 1st, 510 Queen St. South, Brenda Hoffele and Chris Thedorff, $150;

– 2nd, 530 Toronto St., Brad and Nancy Crozier, $75;

– 3rd, 315 Albert St., Amy Greenfield, $50; and

– 4th, 325 Main St. West, Beth Dobson and family, $25.

Business winners were:

– 1st, Norsco Sports/What’s the Occasion, $125;

– 2nd, Blessings to You Thrift and Gift, $50; and

– 3rd, Teenie Tiny Tots Children’s Shop, $25.
