Christmas Harmonies concert returns Dec. 3
Guelph harmony duo, jazz and roots vocalist Brenda Lewis and and blues artist and songwriter Gayle Ackroyd have found a new home for their fourth annual concert of lesser-known Christmas gems and favourites at the Red Brick Cafe on Douglas Street in downtown Guelph.
On Dec. 3 at 7:30pm, these versatile ladies’ sweet and sassy vocal harmonies will take audience on a journey of holiday cheer through 1940s to 1960s pop, rock and R&B - all the way to more recent country, folk and bluegrass.
They will also be performing a number of original Christmas pieces penned by Ackroyd, an award-winning songwriter.
