ABOYNE – The Wellington County Museum and Archives welcomed residents and visitors to the second annual Christmas Market on Nov. 25 and 26.

The event provided an opportunity to ring in the festive holiday season while shopping for unique gifts from more than 70 local artisans, a Wellington County press release stated.

There was live music, local food and drinks, horse-drawn wagon rides, kids crafts, activities and entertainment, and a visit from Santa Claus.

“Back by popular demand, the Christmas market at the museum promises to get the whole family in the holiday spirit,” stated Wellington County Museum and Archives program assistant Emily Peters in a press release.

“The event [provided] a tremendous opportunity to support local artisans while also supporting one-of-a-kind handmade gifts for the holidays.”

Admission to the market was by donation.
