The third annual Chilifest at Pike Lake Golf Course in Mount Forest Oct. 20 raised $1,140 for the Canadian Mental Health Association, with 41 golfers participating.
“Many kind-hearted people volunteered their time,” said organizer Megan Meulensteen. Each year she and her husband Matt select a different charity to benefit from the tournament. “The success of our event relies heavily on the generosity of many local people and companies.
Remember to always support your small-town businesses who give so much to our communities,” she said.
