Cheerleaders earn trip to global competition
Cheer - Madeline May, Tearislee Thomas and Morgan Vodden, all from Centre Wellington, competed in Kitchener at the Cheer Evolution Ontario Championships with their Cambridge Cheer Sport Sharks Small Fins International Global Level 6 team on Feb. 15 and 16. The team was victorious, earning not only first place but a partially-paid bid to compete at the U.S. All Star Federation (USASF) Worlds in Florida in April and an invitation to compete at Faceoff at Cheer Evolution Nationals in Niagara Falls.
