Cheerleaders compete - The athletes at Cheer On Bears Cheerleading had a weekend of competitions. Four elite teams (Blossom, Polar, Kenai and Glacier) travelled to Expofest in Brampton Nov. 23, bringing home two silver and two bronze finishes. The next day, all Bears teams with athletes ages five to 15 competed at the Breath of Life cheer competition at University of Guelph and brought home three first place and four second place finishes. Cheerleading had a weekend of competitions. Four elite teams (Blossom, Polar, Kenai and Glacier) travelled to Expofest in Brampton Nov. 23, bringing home two silver and two bronze finishes. The next day, all Bears teams with athletes ages five to 15 competed at the Breath of Life cheer competition at University of Guelph and brought home three first place and four second place finishes. To see these athletes in action, attend their free holiday showcase Nov. 30 at 6:30pm at the Fergus Sportsplex.
