Checkley, Leslie Spencer; Suddenly at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Sue Checkley of Arthur. Dear father of Shawn, Shannon (Brad) Hickman and Chris (Adrienne), all of Arthur. Loving Ampa of Josh, Abby and Jake. Survived by brothers and sisters Ruth Louttit, Lil Henry (Dave), Betty (Blaine) Richardson, Brenda (Ken) Fair, Mary (Jim) Martin, Bill (Lorna) Checkley and Kate Checkley (John). Predeceased by his parents Wilbert and Jean Checkley, brothers-in-law Garnet Louttit and George Henry. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
