Chapman, John William Frank; (R.C.A.F. Veteran of W.W. 2). With profound sadness, John’s family announces his passing at the age of 88 on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Guelph General Hospital from complications following a car accident on January 1st. John was predeceased by his wife Wilma (1992) and is lovingly remembered by his sons David (Elyse) and Michael (Susan). He was a very caring and humorous grandfather to Melissa and Janice, and Laura and Eric. John will be missed by his sister Kay Pfaff, as well as many nieces and nephews and his many friends. The family received friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Sunday, January 9th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Friends met the family at Trinity United Church, 70 Mill Street East, Acton on Monday, January 10th at 11am where the funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Willy van Arragon.
