Centre Wellington prepares for Doors Open and Culture Days

In the next six months two great events are happening to celebrate what is so amazing about Centre Wellington.

Get ready for Doors Open and Culture Days.

Elora & Fergus Tourism is proud to be building on the success of past years and is once again offering pasSports to draw visitors from near and far to the sites and activities each of these celebrations offer.

Doors Open is an annual celebration of heritage, architecture, parks and culture.

This year’s theme is “Ontario’s Sporting Past” and organizers are swinging the doors wide open.

On June 20, Centre Wellington residents and visitors will once again have the opportunity to explore the many “doors open” in our community.

This is a great opportunity to peek inside the places you can’t normally go, to hear stories you have not heard before, and for experiences and demonstrations you don’t get every day.

Culture Days is a national celebration in its sixth year (fourth for Centre Wellington) and is Sept. 25 to 27.

With a focus on participation and interaction, Culture Days is a movement created to recognize the contribution of culture to healthy vibrant communities. Centre Wellington’s definition of Culture is all encompassing – everything from the arts to agriculture, from festivals and events to quaint downtowns, from our vast natural and cultural heritage to sport and recreation and the Culture Days Passport aims to capture it all.
