Centre Wellington District High School hosted CWOSSA wrestling tournament
Wrestle-mania - Centre Wellington District High School hosted the Central Western Ontario Secondary School Association (CWOSSA) wrestling tournament on Feb. 19. Seventeen local athletes will move on to the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships in Sault Ste. Marie in early March.

Wrestle-mania - Centre Wellington District High School hosted the Central Western Ontario Secondary School Association (CWOSSA) wrestling tournament on Feb. 19. Seventeen local athletes will move on to the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships in Sault Ste. Marie in early March. Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute won the boys division, girls division and the overall team championship.

Centre Wellington was second in the boys division and third overall. Athletes advancing on to OFSAA include: Cam Skerritt, Ryan Fenwick, Derek Winget, Chase Ritter and Quinn Dyce from Centre Wellington; Ava Smith from Erin District High School; Shannan Armstrong and Tristan Goodfellow from Centre Dufferin District High School; Nathan Hunyady, Massouda Abdul Hamid and Jessie Contini from John F. Ross in Guelph; Raphael Arabdijian, Michaela Rankin, Logan Cako, Peyton Garvin, Jananey Rajagopalan, Cole Coghill and Adib Mazloumi from Guelph Collegiate; and Sebastien Piedrahita from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School in Guelph.
