Centre offers Broadway series
Two of Broadway’s most beloved musicals are coming to Kitchener.
Centre In The Square has announced a new Broadway extra series that features Cats and Bye Bye Birdie. The package went on sale Nov. 24. Series packages start at $69 for tickets to both shows.
- Cats – Feb. 23 and 24, 7:30pm; and
- Bye Bye Birdie, May 7 at 7:30pm.
Cats is the longest continuously touring show in American theatre history. Five continents, 26 countries, over eight and a half million audience members and 26 years later, Cats is still America’s most loved family musical.
Bye Bye Birdie, winner of eight Tony Awards including best musical, is one of Broadway’s most memorable musicals of all time. When rock star and teenage heartthrob Conrad Birdie gets drafted, the nation’s teenagers go haywire. The fun starts when a nationwide contest is launched in which one lucky girl wins a farewell kiss from Conrad on The Ed Sullivan Show.
