Centre for the Arts has watercolour workshop
A master watercolour workshop with watercolourist Gordon MacKenzie is set for this October at the Centre for the Arts here.
Author of the Watercolorists Essential Notebook and The Watercolorist’s Essential Notebook/Landscapes, MacKenzie is offering a weekend retreat for water colourists.
In the three day intensive workshop, intermediate and advanced watercolour painters will explore the more traditional methods of composing a painting, focusing and alternative, natural or instinctive approaches.
The fall classes, Composition the Natural Way will help painters to achieve skills and techniques to compose.
MacKenzie has had 25 solo watercolor shows in Canada and the U.S. and his work hangs in private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the U.S., Europe, Africa, and the Far East.
