Council here has named seven members to the township’s newly approved cemetery committee.
On June 9, Clerk Patty Sinnamon explained five applications were received for three public positions. Interviews were held with three applicants on June 2. One did not respond to numerous phone calls, she said, while the other was not available on that date.
The selection committee, consisting of herself and councillors Dennis Craven and Mike Downey, feel the three chosen – Jean Campbell, Stephen Turley and Kathy Fowler – “will serve the committee well.”
They will join Sinnamon, Public Works Director Larry Lynch, Downey and Craven on the committee.
