Trustees with the Wellington Catholic District School Board selected the chair and vice chair for the coming year at the board’s inaugural meeting on Dec. 1.
Returning as chair is Marino Gazzola for his 12th year as the senior elected official for the Catholic board.
Marino has served as a trustee since 1990.
“I am deeply committed to Catholic education in Guelph and Wellington County and in the entire province,” commented Gazzola after the election.
Selected as vice-chair is Sebastian DalBo.
“I look forward to meeting the challenges ahead as the board continues to seek ways to improve student achievement and student welfare,” said DalBo, who is in his fifth year as trustee.
