Carmichael, Donna Maria (nee Heaney)

; of R.R.#1 Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, March 15, 2010 in her 58th year. Beloved wife of Dennis Hoffman for 19 years. Loving mother of Claire Carmichael and her fiancé Jason Black of Waterloo and Ashley Carmichael of Toronto. Daughter of Isabella Heaney and the late Hugh Heaney of Scotland. Sister of Hugh and Karen Heaney of Scotland. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service of Remembrance was held in the Drayton United Church on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11am. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
