Cannabis caper
MOUNT FOREST - A local faces several charges after cannabis plants were stolen from a home here.
On Sept. 23, Wellington County OPP responded to a residence on Queen Street West in Mount Forest. Police say surveillance cameras captured a man damaging a fence, trespassing in the yard and stealing cannabis plants from a private dwelling.
Gordon William Kostal, 38, of Mount Forest, was charged with theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, break and enter, trespass by night and breaching a probation order. He was held for bail.
