Candidate meetings set for ridings
There are a number of all candidates meetings being held across the Wellington Halton Hills riding, including:
- Oct. 6 at the Fergus community centre (tentative starting time is 7pm); and
- Oct. 8 at the Puslinch Community Centre at 7pm (hosted by the Optimist Club of Puslinch).
Candidates should be well practiced by the time those two meetings are held.
There was a meeting on Oct. 3 at the North Halton Golf and Country Club sponsored by the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce. Another one was held Sept. 30 at Georgetown, and one on Oct. 1 in Erin.
Perth-Wellington
In Perth Wellington, the majority of the all candidates meetings are taking place in the Perth part of the riding, but there are a few in Wellington County.
The meetings scheduled by press time included:
- Oct. 6 from 7 to 9pm in Stratford;
- Oct. 7 in Alma at 7:30pm; and
- Oct. 9 from 2 to 3pm at Wellington Heights High School in Mount Forest.
The election will be held on Oct. 14.
