Cancer walk raises $21,000
The 2014 Walk for Cancer Care in Mount Forest on May 10 raised more than $20,000.
“We had a great walk and thanks to all our walkers and their sponsors, we raised $21,108,” said organizing committee member Ruth Penwarden.
Funds raised go to Cancer Patient Services or the Louise Marshall Hospital oncology unit.
The choice is made by the sponsors of the walkers.
