CALLAGHAN, Leo of Hamilton and formerly of Arthur passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital with his family by his side on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the age of 64. Wilfred Leo Callaghan was the cherished son of the late Daniel and Helen (Mulhall) Callaghan. Dear brother of John Callaghan and Joe Machado of Sao Miguel, Azores, Louise and Rick Dingman of Arthur, Joe and Phyllis Callaghan of Kenilworth, Mark Callaghan of Kelowna, B.C., Patrick Callaghan and Toni McGregor of Owen Sound and Carol Ann and Ken Davies of Alma. Loved uncle of Dan, Ryan and Galen Dingman; Jack, Philip and Will Callaghan; and Matt and Julia Davies. Loved nephew and Godson of Wilfred and Lynne Mulhall. Remembered by the McGee, Logel and Mulhall cousins. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish Rosary was prayed in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Arthur on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in St. John Cemetery, Arthur.
