FERGUS – The Fergus Lorne Scots 492 Cadet Corps paraded at The Hub in Fergus on March 25 in recognition of the generosity of its sponsor, Fergus Legion Branch 275. A $4,000 cheque was presented by Legion Sergeant at Arms Conrad Sawyer and received by cadets Chief Warrant Officer Ethan Austin and Warrant Officer Pierre Waltho. The funds will be used to support cadet programming in areas such as leadership and citizenship. The Fergus cadet corps was founded in September 2022 and currently boasts a membership in excess of 60 cadets. For more information contact 492army@cadets.gc.ca.
