The Town of Minto has officially appointed a new bylaw enforcement and property standards officer.

A bylaw appointing Harriston resident Cameron Forbes to the position was passed at the Aug. 5 town council meeting.

Forbes, who is also fire prevention officer for the Minto Fire Department, replaces the town’s former part-time enforcement officer, Tim Lewis, who left to take a combined chief building official/bylaw enforcement position in North Huron.
