Butterfly walk planned by Bereaved Families
KITCHENER - Bereaved Families of Ontario – Midwestern Region (BFO-MR) is giving families an opportunity to honour loved ones during a butterfly memorial event.
The Butterfly Release Walk to Remember event will be held Sept. 8, from 1 to 3pm, at Williamsburg Cemetery and Dedication Centre, 1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd., Kitchener. The annual event is held in partnership with Kitchener Cemeteries.
Guests are invited to release a butterfly, share a photo or memento of their loved one on the memory wall, and/or dedicate a sign along the walking path.
Refreshments and face painting will take place during registration hour.
