Bus purchase approved for Wellington Terrace
The purchase of a nine-passenger bus with capacity for five wheelchairs from a Saskatchewan firm has been approved by Wellington County.
The information heritage and seniors committee approved a staff recommendation to purchase the bus for Wellington Terrace on Jan. 14.
Two bids were received through a tendering process:
- Crestline Coach of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, for a 2015 Advantage 220 Ford at a price of $76,258; and
- Creative Carriage of St. George, Ontario for a 2015 Challenger 158-E40 Ford for $86,844.
The committee approved a recommendation to accept the lower tender.
