Burnell, Jane Kathryn - In her 53rd year, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on July 8, 2013, after a long journey with brain cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Morah Burnell (nee Guest). Dear sister of Stephen Burnell (Cathy Cremasco) of Guelph, Marion Burnell-Grant (John Grant) of Belwood, and Jennifer Burnell of Cochrane, Alberta. Beloved aunt of Zoe and Jesse Grant. Greatly missed by Edward and Theresa Burnell of Almonte. Fondly remembered by Lincoln Henderson of Belwood, and many family friends. Her family will dearly miss her creative spirit, contagious laughter, and witty sense of humour. She will always be remembered for her love of animals, children, art, and spending time by Lake Huron. The family would like to thank Dr. Amanda Wagler for her support and comfort throughout her illness; and to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington for their compassionate and dedicated care of Jane during her last months. At Jane’s request, in lieu of a traditional service, her ashes were spread at the cherished family vacation spot on the shores of Lake Huron.
