BURKE, John Joseph of Arthur passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Jill (Creighton) Burke for 40 years. Dear father of Jeff and Coriana Burke of Coquitlam, B.C., Jen and Adam Bradovka of Picton, Ontario and Jess and Brandon Jang of Coquitlam, B.C. Son of Inez (Lehman) Burke of Kenilworth and the late Egan Burke (1983). Brother of Rick and Judy Burke of Kenilworth, Joyce and Bob Heans of Fergus, Pat and Michelle Burke of Hillsburgh, Anne Burke and Ken Parker of Waterloo and Jerry and Heather Burke of Orangeville. Brother-in-law of Jayne Creighton and Rick Charland of Calgary. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass was Celebrated in St. John’s the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church Arthur on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus or the Juravinski Cancer Center, Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
