Burke, Father John Elson (F.J.)

Burke, Father John Elson (F.J.); Peacefully at Groves memorial Hospital, Fergus on December 16, 2013 in his 84th year. Father John was the dear brother of Barbara Eve and the son of the late Hugh and Hazel Rexford Burke. Father John will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. As well, he will be fondly remembered by the boys, girls and staff at Portage, and his St. John’s Church Community, both of which he served faithfully for many years. A Requiem Eucharist was held at St. John’s Anglican Church 36 Henderson St., Elora on Thursday, December 19th, 2013 at 1:00 pm. A reception was held after the service.
