FERGUS – On July 20, the Centre Wellington Lacrosse community, represented by current and former members of the men’s senior Aces, Jr. B Mohawks, Jr. C Thisles, and CW Minor Lacrosse, along with #GetInTouchForHutch, unveiled a “Buddy Bench” at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus. This is part of Centre Wellington Lacrosse’s commitment to promote and support mental health in the community. The buddy bench was designed to be a safe place to talk, and the lacrosse community hopes the bench will help start the conversation and break the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
