BUCHANAN, Paul Alexander

BUCHANAN, Paul Alexander, painter, illustrator, stone carver, woodworker, reader, music lover, and sometime mathematician, died peacefully in his sleep at Highland Manor, Fergus, in the early morning hours of 26  June 2016. Born on 16 October 1930 in Toronto, Paul was the son of Arthur Duncan Buchanan and Mary Maud Collins Buchanan. He was father by his first wife, Janet Leslie, of the late Daniel Paul Buchanan. His second wife, Patricia Lees, died on 12 July 1997, leaving Paul very lonely. In accordance with his wishes, the ashes of Paul and Patricia will be spread on a Canadian river. Paul’s friends in the Fergus area are asked to hold him kindly in their hearts.
