Brown, William J.T.  (Brownie); Passed away on Friday, October 22 at the Wellington Terrace in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie Brown (nee: Jolly). Dear father of Douglas and his wife Shirley of Brantford. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Marie Mougenol and Margaret Todman, both of Toronto and brother Robert of Victoria, BC. Predeceased by his sister Dorothy, and brothers Thomas and Gregory.  Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and many friends.  Born in Halifax, NS in 1926, he was the son of the late Robert Duncan and Maud Veronica (Hogan) Brown. Brownie was a proud long time employee with (Beatty Brothers) and played the bass drum with the Fergus Brass Band. A memorial service will be held at St. James Anglican Church (171 Queen St., Fergus), on Saturday, October 30 at 1pm, with visitation beginning at 12:30. Arrangements entrusted to Thomson Funeral Home. In memoriam, donations may be made to Groves Memorial Community Hospital or St. James Anglican Church. Cards will be available at the memorial service, or donations and condolences may be made at www.thomsonfuneralhome.com
