BROWN, Marion Elizabeth (nee: Ovens); Passed away quietly at Groves Memorial Hospital on January 17, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife, wonderful mother and amazing woman who gave so much to the community. She will be sadly missed by her husband George, daughter Lynn (Katherine), son Paul (Vicki) and her grandchildren Nathan, Nick and Koen. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Ovens and her sister Dorothy Hewitson. Survived by her siblings Annie Proctor, Donna Watt, Gord Ovens, Harold Ovens and Edward Ovens and their families. Visitation took place at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St S, Fergus on Wednesday, January 21st, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Funeral service for Marion took place in the funeral home chapel, on Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 at 11:00 am.
