Visit the Wellington County Museum and Archives on April 23 at noon, for a presentation and tour of the current installation, Memories of my Mother, a collection of Hooked Art.

Developed and first presented in 2006 at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, Memories, a collection of over 60 individual pieces, explores the unique and personal stories of each artist and their relationship with their mothers, expressed through the media of hooked art. Each entry is a creative and touching statement, a true labour of love.

In Aboyne on April 23 are Sybil Mercer and Gwen Becker, coordinators of the exhibit, from concept to fruition, will share ideas about and passion for hooked art and then guide visitors through the exhibit itself.  Bring a lunch; beverages will be provided.

Regular admission rates apply. For further information or to reserve a seat for lunch, call 519-846-0916, extension 221. The museum and archives is located on County Road 18, between Fergus and Elora.
